Client: CMO2Go

Industry: Law Firm Marketing

Project Scope: Brand Messaging, Website Copywriting, LinkedIn Content

The Problem:

Erika felt that her website was too cold and corporate, showing little of her own personality. Although she already had a significant marketing background and a lot of great ideas about what she wanted to communicate to her audience, she needed an expert collaborator to help her figure out her differentiators and help her put what she already knew about her business into the right words.

The Solution:

Using our signature Reveal Your Brand process, we developed her core messaging, including her values, differentiators, ideal client profiles, value proposition, taglines, mission and vision. Then, we used that messaging to write the website copy, working together with her chosen web designer to ensure the copy and layout worked harmoniously together. We have continued to work with her on LinkedIn content and bylined articles for publication.

The Outcome:

Erika now receives inquiries from qualified leads. Recently, she signed contracts with two new law firm clients who contacted her after reading her website and LinkedIn content, saying that content had a significant impact on their decision to hire her.

Erika Steinberg leads a team of experienced law firm marketing professionals who work with midsize law firms across the U.S. and Canada. Erika contacted us after seeing our LinkedIn post celebrating a client’s success, asking us to work with her to create the brand messaging and brand voice for her company, CMO2Go.

Client: GIA Institute of Psychotherapy

Industry: Psychotherapy Practice

Project Scope: Brand Messaging, Website Copywriting, Staff Bios

The Problem:

The practice’s website was outdated, using academic jargon that showcased clinical director Gina Innocente’s impressive credentials but didn’t fully connect with their target audience. Gina wanted the website to speak to the local community, represent the personality of her business, and focus less on herself, spotlighting her staff’s qualifications and accomplishments instead. She chose us because of Laurel’s extensive background in social services and her understanding of the world of psychotherapy.

The Solution:

As part of the Reveal Your Brand process, we interviewed Gina and all of her staff and reviewed client testimonials, incorporating the information we gathered into their core messaging elements. We crafted staff bios that reflected the therapists’ significantly differentiated practice focus and specialities. In addition, we rewrote all services pages and descriptions of the types of psychotherapy offered in more conversational language.

The Outcome:

Gina considers the website a true reflection of her practice and what it brings to the community, and appreciated the time and care that we took getting to know her and her staff. She states that the new content significantly increased the website interaction time, bumping the practice to a higher Google ranking while lowering their advertising costs. She also received enthusiastic feedback from clients and colleagues.

GIA Institute of Psychotherapy Is a group psychotherapy practice located near Atlantic City, NJ. Planning to expand her practice, Clinical Director Gina began working with an agency, Humaniz Collective, on updating the website and visuals. Humaniz brought us into the project to work with Gina on an expanded scope of work that included brand messaging, brand voice, website copywriting and staff bios.

Client: HudsonWay Immersion School (HWIS)

Industry: Education

Project Scope: Brand Messaging, Website Copywriting, Focus Groups, Client Surveys, Client Interviews, Competitive Analysis, Vendor Selection

The Problem:

HWIS’s parent community had given feedback to school leadership that the messaging on their website and marketing materials was not clear and focused. They also felt that the language immersion concept was not compelling enough to attract a broader audience of prospective parents. The school’s founder wanted their website to reflect the warmth and character of the school without losing its focus on academic rigor or results.

The Solution:

We created a custom branding process that started with parent interviews, staff surveys, and an in-depth competitive analysis. We then used the information we gathered to write initial brand messaging that we presented to parent focus groups, key school administrators. and staff for feedback. We collaborated with their SEO Manager and the school’s founder to write website copy, and helped the school to select a videographer and a web designer that could carry out their vision for the project.

The Outcome:

The parents, staff and administration feel that the message is clearer and that the website copy reflects the new brand personality. The website speaks more comfortably to prospective families with language that is understandable and more compelling. Leads have also increased through this new website.

HWIS is an independent language immersion school, with two campuses located in Manhattan and New Jersey, that teaches pre-K through 8th grade students to speak, write, and think in Mandarin or Spanish. We were recommended to the school by a professional colleague familiar with their needs, and were chosen after a vetting process.
